My parents were rear ended at a red light in the late 70s by a massive Ford LTD at a very high rate of speed. My mother had massive trauma after being thrown under the dash, and my father had the equivalent of 25% of one lung after the scar tissue was cut away through multiple procedures.

It took the full statute and bankruptcy from the responsible party for the lawyers to pay the maximum amount of 64k after fees.

30 years later I was driving my sister home and I too am rear ended at a red light while minding my own business. My prized Firebird Formula is destroyed. While in shock, and not knowing what to do next, I was also being bullied by the insurance company over the value of my vehicle. This incident led me to never be taken advantage of by the insurance company again.

These incidents changed the course my life in an unforeseen way, bringing me to DSN with the hope of altering yours for the better.

I decided to get an insider perspective as an auto damage adjuster for 5 years. There I uncovered the dark underbelly of the auto insurance industry that no one truly can see unless on the inside.
